Lady Gaga wants to win weight loss wars with wheat-free diet

Already lean, Lady Gaga hopes to lose 10 pounds in a month by shifting to a gluten-free diet, the Australian Sky News reported today. Kicking off the latest part of her "Born This Way Ball" tour in Bulgaria, she hopes that the wheat-free plan will help her achieve her best body.
"Gaga has decided to go on a major body blitz and cut out all gluten and wheat from her diet, which is very hard to do," a source told the Sky News. "She has given her people strict instruction to advise staff at venues and restaurants about her new diet because she is taking it very seriously." Setting a goal of losing 10 pounds in a month, Lady Gaga is limiting herself to only one or two portions of carbohydrates weekly. Her meals primarily consist of fish, chicken and vegetables, according to the Sky News.
In addition to limiting herself to one potato or one portion of rice weekly, the source informed Sky News that Lady Gaga enjoys gluten-free cookies for snacks. She's known to have a sweet tooth, treating herself to Swedish pancakes made with her personal trainer Harley Pasternak's recipe, according to Fitness magazine. Lady Gaga's normal diet includes "fresh fruit, especially anything exotic like pineapple, mango or papaya," she told theGuardian. However, on tour, Lady Gaga may find it challenging to follow her usual intense fitness routine. At home, she regularly works out with Harley, alternating circuit training with cardio, according to Glamour.Lady Gaga also takes spin classes, recently boasting on Twitter, "Just killed back to back spin classes. Eating a salad dreaming of a cheeseburger."
